Job Title:
Signalling Project Engineer also interested in Senior Project Engineers (CRE/CEM)

Location:
York / Home Based

Salary / Benefits:
£45,000 - £58,000 per annum plus package including car/car allowance, negotiable dependant on level of experience and qualifications.

Company Information:
Working for a principal contractor with a successful track record of delivering projects on the UK's national rail network, working with Network Rail and London Underground, as well as most of the light rail and tram organisations in the UK

Seeking candidates with:

Significant demonstrable experience working within signalling engineering, successfully delivering projects from start to finish
HNC / HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Any higher qualifications in a related discipline and / or professional membership of IET would be advantageous or compensating experience
Ideally carried out the role of Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE).
Emergency Fire and First Aid, technical training to meet contract and business requirements
PTS

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;

A Project Engineer/ Engineering Manager Licence IRSE License (highly desirable)
Incorporated / Chartered Engineer status or evidence of working towards it would be an advantage.
- A Degree in in an appropriate Engineering subject

Role Information;
You will be responsible for the full range of signalling systems on one or more of our projects. As a key member of the Project Management team you will ensure engineering excellence is achieved throughout the life cycle of the project, from design and implementation through to test and commissioning. You will also manage your resources and team effectively to deliver exceptional signalling engineering to agreed plans and budgets.
