This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Agent to join a major Tier One contractor to assist with one of the most complex marine engineering projects currently taking place in the world.
The company are market leaders in Civils & Power sector and your role as Senior Site Agent will be responsible for assisting the Construction Manager to facilitate the construction of the secondary lining works on the tunneling section of the project.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Site Agent role:
- Input into the permanent and temporary works design to enable solutions that can be constructed within programme and budget requirements
- Review contract programmes and develop 16 week lookahead programmes for the Secondary Lining works
- Coordinate the necessary documentation to enable construction
- Ensuring works are carried out within approved Method Statements and Quality requirements
- Liaise with the Works Manager and General Foreman to ensure that the required resources are planned for the works
- Working on a 10hr shift pattern Monday to Friday, including weekends where needed
- Work to and update the programme on a weekly basis, review performance against the Contract Programme. Identify methods to better the programme and mitigate any delays
- Ensure that materials plant and equipment are managed
- Supervise and direct teams of shift engineers
- Review of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Inspection and Test Plans
- Ensure that the drawings and specification documents contain sufficient, accurate information for construction of the works. Formally request any missing information in sufficient time to allow the programme to proceed without delay.
Experience required for this Senior Site Agent role:
- Degree qualified or have relevant professional experience in either Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or, similar) and have, or is studying towards a professional qualification e.g. MICE, FGS
- Must hold a valid CSCS card
- The role requires individuals with strong up to date technical knowledge of construction
- Experience of maintaining good relations with designer and client
- High levels of experience in reinforced concrete structures
- Ability to contribute to the design, development, construction, commissioning or maintenance of civil engineering products, equipment, processes, systems, or services
- Ability to interpret drawings correctly and check for error
- Experience in tunnelling works and/or secondary lining works
Package offered for this Senior Site Agent role:
- Base salary ranging from £60,000-70,000 depending on experience
- Company Car
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Subsistance and travel (where applicable)
