Senior Project Planner

Job Title:
Senior Project Planner (P6), also interested in hearing from Intermediate Planners

Location:
Manchester and Birmingham

Salary / Benefits:
£60,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependant on experience, plus a negotiable package

Company Information:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading company for a Senior Project Planner to work in Manchester on exciting rail projects.

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- At least 5 years track record as a project planner & a strong Civils and/or Rail Civils background
- Ability & experience of managing / mentoring junior team members
- Both tender & live work experience & an in depth knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience of dealing with site issues & liaising with Project Managers, Directors etc
- Knowledge of computer hardware & software programs, including Microsoft Office
- Full clean UK Driving Licence

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- A background, in Construction / Civils as well as Rail
- Have experience of working with NEC suite of contracts

As a Senior Project Planner, you will;
- Writing & presenting reports & projects to senior leaders
- Creating cost & resource loaded programmes
- Implementing earned value analysis
- Managing multiple projects
