Job Title: Project Manager (Electrical T&D)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE plus company benefits

A fantastic Project Manager opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 Engineering Contractor, operating across Ireland, UK & Northern Europe in the power transmission and distribution, data centres and pharmaceuticals sectors. Role Purpose of the Project Manager:
As a Project Manager, you will join a well-established Transmission & Distribution team, planning, organising, leading & coordinating all activities concerned with the construction of Electrical (LV, MV & HV) projects.
Together with your project teams, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project:
- Arranging and chairing handover of project from estimating department to construction team for start-up phase.
- Managing site teams with continuous review of competencies, develop a training plan for staff and operatives who require development.
- Continuous auditing and reporting of EHS procedures.
- Attend meetings with Clients & hold progress meetings with sub-contractors and ensure that safety and training.
- Ensure testing and commissioning is carried out in accordance with the Quality Plan.
- Ensure all systems are demonstrated to Client and District Surveyor for smooth handover.
Requirements of the Project Manager:
- 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or strong trades background.
- At least 6 years project management experience with a main or T&D Contractor
- Experience in Substations is essential.
- Happy to travel across project sites in Scotland.
