Our client is a well-known General Contractor specializing in diversified ICI construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to identify an experienced Project Manager to join the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 (5) years of experience as a Project Manager for an ICI General Contractor. New Build experience is a strong asset.
- Strong project management skills, including solid understanding of trade scopes, project sequencing, and coordination of work
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Project
- Must be client-facing
- Able to read and interpret drawings (architectural, mechanical and electrical at a minimum)
- CET / engineer / business / project management courses, college, or university programs graduate (preferred)
- PMP certificate (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Keep close and regular communication with clients and project stakeholders
· Execute assigned projects
· Attend on-site and/or virtual progress meetings and produce meeting minutes
· Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts and agreements
· Manage the execution of projects to ensure quality control, scope, schedule and budgets are strictly adhered to
· Monitor and manage project financials regularly and produce monthly progress invoices to clients
· Maintain project issues log with assistance from the on site team
· Create project schedules on MS Project
· Issue RFIs (Requests for Information) in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders
· Maintain accurate and up to date change logs
· Along with the assigned Site Supervisor, ensure the overall health & safety of the project site
· Liaise with support teams as required
· Ability and willingness to drive to multiple sites as required throughout Ontario
· Other duties as may be assigned due to operation requirements
