A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking to appoint a Design Manager to deliver an education scheme in Birmingham, working on the project from cradle to grave.
This is a great opportunity for either an experienced Design Manager or an Assistant Design Manager ready to step up and take ownership of their first project.
Role
You will manage the design process from preconstruction through to completion, coordinating consultants and internal teams to ensure the project is delivered on programme, within budget and fully compliant. You'll play a key role in driving design quality, buildability and effective communication across the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Experience within a main contractor environment in a Design Management or Design Coordination role
Strong understanding of design and construction processes
Driven, proactive and keen to progress within a growing business
Ability to manage stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams
Experience on Department for Education projects is desirable.
