Commercial Manager


Our client, a prominent developer with projects all over Ireland, is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to take ownership over the preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation commercial risk assessments to guide projects to a successful commercial outcome.

As Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the development of collaborative stakeholder relationships in support of successful account delivery, aiding change and conflict management to ensure operational demands of the projects are delivered.



  • Lead all proposal activities, including the coordination of cross-functional inputs to receive, evaluate, plan, and execute proposals, ensuring compliance with guiding policies

  • Experience supporting complex customer negotiations

  • Prepare and issue of tenders in line with the tender documentations provided, reviewing and completing the tender forms and ensure they are within the given specifications

  • Understand and scrutinise the project specifications and design drawings

  • Obtaining estimates and prices from sub-contractors and suppliers


  • Quantity Surveying degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience of full oversight over commercial elements and quantity surveyors on site

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a residential environment

  • Ability to demonstrate building strong working relationships & stakeholder management 

  • Good Level of legal awareness and competence in assessing Contract Documents and contract requirements 

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability and proven experience managing teams of highly motivated surveyors.
