Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Bromsgrove (B60)
Salary: Circa £40,000 (negotiable based on experience and current earnings)

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for a clear step up. With a strong promotional pathway to Project Lead, this role is ideal for a seasoned Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take on more responsibility and progress their career.
You'll join a growing residential development team, supporting senior surveyors while gaining the exposure and experience needed to transition from Assistant Quantity Surveyor level into a leadership position. The role also offers flexibility with hybrid working and the opportunity to work across a range of exciting sites throughout the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and trades
- Supporting internal cost reporting and external valuations
- Conducting measurement and re-measurement exercises
- Reviewing construction methods to assess commercial feasibility
- Identifying risks early and helping implement cost-efficient solutions
- Taking on increasing responsibility aligned with progression from Assistant Quantity Surveyor to Project Lead
Your Profile
- Degree-qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Previous experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within a housebuilder, contractor, or consultancy
- Strong financial management and cost-control skills
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- An ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step
