Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hybrid Working, Office based in Reading ideal for those located around Oxford, Slough or Watford.
Salary / Benefits: £25,000 - £30,000 Depending on experience + car allowance and excellent company benefits
Start Date: ASAP
Company Information: My client is a main contractor who have won many awards and worked on some very high profile projects and are currently working on a major infrastructure project in the UK.

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Experience as an assistant quantity surveyor.
- Experience in Civil Engineering projects.
- Experience of General Civils, Highways, Roads, drainage or water.

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Degree / HND /HNC quantity surveying.
- Experience in a similar position with a medium size to major size civil engineering main contractor. - Strong main contractor knowledge.

Role Information;
- Great opportunity to join a growing subcontractor who are working on large infrastructure projects in the UK.
- The role will be Hybrid working.
- This role will be based in Reading with the occasional travel to site.
- You should have ideally have experience of and a track record of commercial delivery of civils packages such as roads, drainage, highways & general heavy civils.
- Good salary and package on offer.
-You will: you will be a key member of the commercial team. Order information and systematically check data, Measure, record & value work unsupervised in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures. Review weekly, monthly section programmes of works, reporting to the commercial manager.
