The role of a Site Agent is to manage the construction site to ensure the project is delivered and objectives are met, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.

Key skills to be successful as a Site Agent will include:

  • The ability to identify and assess contract risks

What are the typical daily duties for a Site Agent?

From employer to employer the job description of a Site Agent can vary, however typical duties and activities undertaken include:

  • Managing all aspects of site projects

  • Striving to exceed customers’ expectations and deliver an outstanding level of service

  • Co-ordinating and supervising site based activities

  • Ensuring that all health and safety, as well as quality and environmental procedures are adhered to

  • Identifying the resources required to successfully complete projects in a timely manner, including labour, plant materials and subcontractor

​Pickering is a town that is situated in Southern Ontario, Canada. As of 2016 the population of Pickering was 91,771, which made it the 61st most populated town in Canada.

Brock Lands Restoration Plan

Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) acquired the former Brock North and South Landfill sites from the City of Toronto in January 2011.  The 969 acres of land will be restored to become a public destination and support self-sustaining communities of native plants, fish and wildlife. These lands have the potential to provide recreational opportunities such as hiking, cross country skiing, angling and nature viewing experiences.

Carruthers Creek Watershed Plan

The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) Board of Directors approved the updated Carruthers Creek Watershed Plan (CCWP) in September 2021. The update of the Watershed Plan commenced in 2015, and included various stakeholder and public engagement opportunities.

The development of the updated CCWP included an evaluation of current conditions and the identification of measures to protect, enhance and restore the health of the watershed.
