​What is a Network planner?

A Network Planner is a key profession within the telecoms sector. The role of a Network Planner is to plan the development of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure. Due to the technical nature of this role, to become a Network Planner you will usually need a formal qualification within telecommunications.

What are the typical duties and activities for a Network Planner?

From employer to employer the job description of a Network Planner will vary, however typical duties and activities undertaken include:

  • Produce planning packs

  • Prepare cost effective cable/civils route plans

  • Working with the Design Team

£18m Friargate Regeneration Project

This ambitious mixed-use development scheme is set to create a 253 bedroomed building, which is aimed at providing hotel style accommodation to students at the University of Central Lancashire.
