What is a Document Controller?
The role of a Document Controller is to keep track of project documents, such as vendor contracts, blueprints and project plans. Document Controllers will create reports for a Construction Manager and update and documents that need updating.
Key skills to be successful as a Document Controller will include:
Strong understanding of how to use multiple systems, Procore, SharePoint. Bluebeam, DocuSign, P6, Textura, eBuilder and Asana is a plus.
The ability to create and design material
Experience using Office Scripts in Excel and other Microsoft products
Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.

Support the documentation strategy ensuring compliance goals are met at all times
Track documents through internal processes and give support to relevant users accordingly
Support all areas of the business during audit situations
Promote Good Documentation Practices within the team
Liaise with document owners in respect of approval schedules and implementation of new or revised documents
Receive and log documents submitted by internal team personnel for inclusion into the document control system
